1st TIMES Workshop meeting was successfully developed in Belfast

1st TIMES Workshop in collaboration with ETSF Real-Time collaboration was held in Belfast (UK) from 7th to 10th April.

The Queen´s University of Belfast hosted the Workshop, that served as a platform for knowledge exchange in the field of out-of-equilibrium system simulation. The workshop combined introductory lectures on the state-of-the-art of simulations and experimental techniques of ultrafast phenomena in quantum materials with presentations on the most recent advances in the field, with a particular emphasis on correlated structural dynamics, coherent light-matter interaction and dissipative phenomena.

A space for collaboration and the future of research

In addition to the scientific sessions, the congress fostered networking among attendees, including PhD. Students, main researches and speakers, promoting new collaborations within the framework of the TIMES project and the ETSF community. The active participation of young researchers and the quality of the presentations consolidated this event as a reference in the training and development of the next generation of scientists in the field of theoretical and experimental physics.
