Next TIMES webinar in collaboration with the ETSF network on March, 13th

After a short break, TIMES continues with its interesting series of webinars.

Next talk with the title “Symmetries of excitons” will be given by Muralidhar Nalabothula, from the University of Luxemburg.

Excitons are electron-hole bound pairs that play a central role in mediating light matter interactions in two-dimensional materials and wide bandgap insulators such as hexagonal boron nitride.

In this talk, it will be shown a general, robust ab-initio method for computing the representations of excitonic states. Furthermore, it will be discussed how one can exploit symmetries to speed up exciton calculations.

Don´t miss the date, it will take place next Friday, March 13th at 14:00 CET.
