Special Solid-State Physics Seminar has ended

From April, 17th, a series of on-line seminars dedicated to deep on Special Solid-State Physics and focused on Ultrafast Dynamics were periodically taking place under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Fabio Caruso, from the University of Kiel, Germany.

These 7 seminars were specifically designed for PhD and master students, and have been conducted until the past June, 26th.

The last two webinars were developed on June 19th, focused on “Ultrafast electron-phonon dynamics from the time-dependent Boltzmann Equation”. It was a change of program as compared to the original announcement and the seminar was introduced by Yiming Pan from the University of Kiel, Germany.

The final event of the TIMES webinar series for this semester was taking place on June, 25th by Simona Achilli (University of Milano, Italy), who disserted about “Multiscale theoretical approach for the analysis of quantum transport through point defects in semiconductors”.

All the seven webinars were very well received and attendance increased week over week.
