Exciton dynamics, ultrafast spectroscopy and light–matter interactions were among the key topics discussed during the TIMES Workshop 2026 in Frascati. The meeting showcased recent theoretical and experimental advances in quantum materials and highlighted the growing synergy between computation and cutting-edge spectroscopic techniques.

The TIMES Doctoral Network successfully held the workshop Frontiers in Ultrafast Phenomena in Quantum Materials at INFN Frascati National Laboratories, Italy. The event brought together researchers from across Europe to discuss recent advances in ultrafast dynamics, excitonic phenomena, light–matter interactions and non-equilibrium quantum materials.
