From April, 17th, a series of on-line seminars dedicated to deep on Special Solid-State Physics and focused on Ultrafast Dynamics are periodically taking place.
These 7 seminars are specifically designed for PhD and master students, and will be conducted until 26th June. By now, three of these master class have been taken place.
The webinars started with Dr. Davide Sangalli (CNR Milan), that introduced the “Ab Initio Modelling of Nonequilibrium Excitons”. Afterwards, Michiel van Setten (IMEC) explained the “Modern Techniques of Machine Learning and Application to Materials Science”. The third master class have been teached by Dr. Alejandro Molina-Sánchez with the topic “ultrafast exciton dynamics in van der Waals materials”.
The webinars have been very well received and attendance has been high every week.
